Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients by washing, peeling, chopping, and portioning
- Assist chefs with food preparation and cooking according to recipes
- Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, grills, and fryers
- Ensure food quality, hygiene, and proper presentation standards
- Check temperatures of appliances and food items
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, tools, and equipment
- Set up and break down workstations before and after shifts
- Follow safety, hygiene, and company policies
- Store ingredients properly and assist with cold food preparation
- Support team during busy operations
- Perform other reasonable duties assigned by supervisors
