Key Responsibilities
- Assist in food preparation including chopping, portioning, and storing ingredients
- Prepare dishes according to recipes, quality guidelines, and presentation standards
- Check temperature and functionality of kitchen equipment
- Prepare cold foods, sauces, salads, and mise en place
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, workstations, utensils, and equipment
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation policies
- Support senior chefs during busy service hours
- Ensure proper labeling, storage, and rotation of food items
- Assist with stock checks and daily kitchen organization
- Comply with safety procedures and report hazards or maintenance issues
- Perform additional culinary duties assigned by supervisors
