Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

1) Support Chef de Partie or Demi Chef de Partie in the daily operation and work.

2) Work according to the menu specifications by the Chef de Partie / Demi CDP Pastry. 3) Check the daily production schedule to determine variety and quantity of goods to bake.

4) Create and prepare desserts in accordance with the existent menus.

5) Decorate desserts according to requirements as per set Delicious Food standards.

6) Prepare plate desserts for serving.

7) Implement and follow an expedited, standardized, efficient preparation kitchen pastry process.

8) Be alert about using exact measurements and paying strict attention to timing

9) Work according to tight production schedules (ensure that the correct quantities are being produced for each pastry item order).

10) Prepare pastry items needed for the following day. 11) Ensure that all prepared pastry items are stored appropriately and used according to the FIFO procedure. 12) Help in any area of the pastry kitchen/BOH when circumstances dictate.
