Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead the commissioning process for complex systems, ensuring all equipment meets specifications and operational standards.
- Develop and execute detailed commissioning plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk assessments to minimize project delays.
- Collaborate with design and engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues during the commissioning phase, ensuring seamless integration.
- Conduct rigorous testing and validation of systems, documenting results and ensuring compliance with industry regulations and client requirements.
- Train and guide operational staff on system functionalities, maintenance procedures, and safety protocols to ensure smooth handover.
- Manage relationships with vendors and subcontractors, coordinating their activities to align with project commissioning schedules.
- Perform site inspections and audits to identify potential risks and ensure adherence to safety standards throughout the commissioning process.
- Compile comprehensive commissioning documentation, including reports, manuals, and certificates to support project completion and handover.
- Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and software to analyze system performance data and implement necessary adjustments for optimization.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to continually enhance commissioning methodologies and best practices.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related field) from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in commissioning roles within the energy, oil & gas, or manufacturing sectors.
- Certification in Project Management (PMP or equivalent) is a strong asset, showcasing proficiency in leading projects.
- Proven experience with international projects, understanding of various industry standards, and regulations.
- Ability to communicate fluently in English; proficiency in additional languages is highly desirable for multicultural projects.
- Strong technical skills in system diagnostics, performance testing, and knowledge of relevant software tools.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, effectively managing teams and fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to addressing challenges and implementing solutions.
- Detail-oriented mindset, ensuring accuracy in documentation and adherence to project specifications.
- Physical capability to perform site visits in various environments, including remote and industrial settings.
