Position Overview

The Queen Elizabeth II Hotel in Dubai is seeking a Concierge Shift Leader to oversee concierge operations and ensure guests receive exceptional service from arrival to departure. This leadership role requires strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills, with responsibility for guiding the concierge team and coordinating guest services to create memorable experiences.

Core Duties


* Lead and supervise the concierge team to deliver world-class guest service
* Oversee daily concierge desk operations, including task delegation and scheduling
* Welcome guests and manage luggage handling and valet parking services
* Provide detailed information on hotel facilities, dining options, entertainment, and local attractions
* Offer personalized recommendations for tourism activities and special experiences
* Promote and explain hotel loyalty programs to guests
* Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation in lobby and entrance areas
* Respond to guest inquiries and resolve complaints promptly and professionally
* Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless service delivery
* Train and mentor new concierge team members and monitor performance
* Manage a flexible 7-day roster covering morning, evening, and holiday shifts
* Implement and update standard operating procedures for the concierge desk

Candidate Profile

* Proven experience as a Concierge Shift Leader or similar supervisory role in hospitality
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide teams
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
* Friendly, professional, and guest-focused demeanor
* Strong multitasking and time management skills for fast-paced environments
* Problem-solving ability and confidence in making quick decisions
* Knowledge of local attractions, dining, and entertainment venues is an advantage
