Civil Engineering Construction Project Manager

Main tasks:

• Responsible for planning, organizing and controlling civil engineering works on a public works project. He is responsible for the technical quality of the works and for meeting deadlines.

Duties (tasks and responsibilities):

• To take into account any risk that may compromise the achievement of the objectives assigned to it and to implement appropriate actions in the face of risks and opportunities that have an impact on compliance with requirements and to evaluate the effectiveness of the actions taken.
• Analyze and study the plans established by the company.
• Execute the provisional schedules in terms of resources (equipment, materials and labor).
• Proceed with the installation of the project, paying particular attention to safety: Installation of barriers, lighting, and signage.
• To finalize the work program.
• Form teams and give them the necessary instructions for each stage of civil engineering.
• Monitor the progress of the work and ensure that it is executed in accordance with the contract.
• Monitor work progress schedules and adherence to deadlines.
• Ensure the application of security measures and discipline on the project.
• Monitor the condition of the equipment and its maintenance.

In terms of QHSE:

• Respect and enforce the general safety instructions and rules in force within the Company and the Project.
• Ensure the application of the procedures and rules dictated within the framework of the Integrated Management System.
• Contributes to raising awareness among workers regarding occupational risk prevention and environmental issues.
• Suggest improvements deemed useful, particularly concerning working methods and processes, the choice of materials and the adaptation of equipment.
• Ensure the provision and wearing of appropriate collective and individual protective equipment (CPE and PPE).
• Raising awareness of the process approach and the risk-based approach.
• Capitalize on all feedback, decide on the need to review the planned arrangements and share the acquired or modified knowledge with colleagues.

• General training in TS GC or TP.
• Professional training: Project management.
