Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager with 12 15 years of hands-on construction experience to manage and oversee site execution activities for projects in Abu Dhabi. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring construction works are executed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in full compliance with contract requirements, approved drawings, and Abu Dhabi authority regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Construction & Site Management

• Manage day-to-day site construction activities in line with approved project plans

• Ensure works are executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and method statements

• Coordinate with engineering, QA/QC, HSE, planning, and commercial teams

• Monitor manpower, equipment, and material resources to ensure productivity

Planning & Progress Control

• Support project planning by implementing approved construction schedules

• Monitor site progress and report delays or risks to senior management

• Coordinate with planners to implement recovery and acceleration plans

Subcontractor & Workforce Management

• Manage subcontractors and ensure compliance with project requirements

• Conduct daily and weekly coordination meetings with subcontractors

• Ensure subcontractor works meet quality, safety, and schedule expectations

Quality & Safety Compliance

• Ensure adherence to QA/QC procedures, ITPs, and inspection requirements

• Enforce HSE standards and promote a zero-accident culture

• Ensure compliance with Abu Dhabi authority and consultant inspection requirements

Authority & Stakeholder Coordination

• Coordinate inspections and approvals with DMT/ADM, ADDC, ADCD, and consultants

• Ensure timely closure of inspection comments and NCRs

• Support authority submissions and approvals as required

Reporting & Documentation

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress and site reports

• Maintain accurate records of site activities, manpower, and equipment

• Assist in preparation of handover and close-out documentation

Project Close-Out & Handover

• Support snagging, testing, commissioning, and handover activities

• Ensure completion of outstanding works prior to project handover

• Assist in final inspections and authority approvals

Qualifications & Requirements

Education

• Bachelor s Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management

Experience

• 12 15 years of construction experience

• Strong experience in Abu Dhabi-based projects

• Experience in residential, commercial, infrastructure, or mixed-use projects

Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of construction methods and sequencing

• Knowledge of Abu Dhabi construction regulations and authority processes

• Familiarity with Primavera P6, MS Project, AutoCAD, and MS Office

• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Experience working with main contractors in Abu Dhabi

• Strong authority liaison and inspection coordination experience

• Ability to manage multiple work fronts simultaneously
