Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items following recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines
- Assist with food preparation such as chopping, portioning, and measuring ingredients
- Monitor temperature of ovens, grills, fryers, and other equipment
- Check food quality, freshness, and portion accuracy
- Prepare cold foods and assist with daily mise en place
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, tools, surfaces, and equipment
- Handle food storage, labeling, and rotation according to safety standards
- Support senior chefs during busy service periods
- Communicate any shortage of ingredients or equipment issues to supervisors
- Follow safety, hygiene, and company procedures at all times
- Lift and move items up to 11 kg as needed
- Perform any additional tasks assigned by supervisors

- At least 3 years of experience in a similar culinary role
- Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and commercial kitchen operations
- Ability to follow recipes and maintain consistency
- Strong awareness of food safety and hygiene practices
- Good teamwork, communication, and time-management skills
- Ability to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced environment
