Responsibilities

Our newest opportunity is for a talented Cost Manager to join our award winning PMI team in Madinah, KSA.

 

The successful candidate will bring in-depth knowledge of cost planning, procurement, and commercial management, with direct experience in the luxury hospitality and high-end mixed-use sector.

 

The Cost Manager will support the commercial leadership in managing all aspects of cost control and financial reporting, ensuring the project is delivered within budget while maintaining the highest standards of quality and stakeholder satisfaction.

 
We envisage success in this role to include;

Developing, implementing, and managing cost plans, estimates, and budgets across all project components, from early design through to completion.

Providing cost advice during design development and procurement stages, including value engineering and life cycle costing where appropriate.

Managing tender processes, including preparation of BOQs, tender documentation, evaluation, and negotiation.

Tracking project costs and prepare regular cost reports, forecasts, and cash flow projections.

Ensuring alignment between budgets, contractual commitments, and project deliverables.

Monitoring and control variations, claims, and change orders, ensuring accurate cost impact assessments.

Supporting contract administration and provide commercial input during contract negotiation and award.

Collaborating closely with the client, design team, and construction team to ensure alignment on financial and contractual matters.

Advising on procurement strategies, supplier engagement, and market trends relevant to the region and sector.

Ensuring compliance with company standards, legal requirements, and local regulations.


Qualifications

To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include 20 years experience, a Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Cost Engineering, or a related discipline; MRICS or equivalent professional accreditation strongly preferred.
