Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Develop and implement country-level strategies that align with regional and global objectives
- Identify and pursue growth opportunities to ensure sustainable business performance
- Lead business development initiatives to strengthen market presence and competitive position
- Oversee project execution, ensuring quality, safety, timelines, and budgets are met
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and service teams to optimize efficiency and resources
- Ensure compliance with international standards and local regulatory requirements
- Prepare and manage annual budgets, monitor financial performance, and drive cost-effective operations
- Build and lead a high-performing team, providing coaching, mentorship, and succession planning
- Maintain and expand relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders
- Represent the company in industry events, negotiations, and stakeholder engagements
- Conduct risk assessments and implement measures to safeguard business continuity
Desired Candidate Profile
To be successful in this role, you should have the following skills and experiences:
- Bachelor s or Master s degree in Engineering, Automation, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum 10 years of experience in engineering or infrastructure sectors, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership position
- Proven track record in managing P&L responsibility and leading large teams
- Strong understanding of local business regulations, labor law, and applicable industry standards in Oman
- Experience working in project-based business environments within the automation sector
- Ability to develop and communicate a clear strategic vision that supports long-term business goals
- Excellent communication skills in English; additional language skills in Hindi or Arabic are an advantage
- High adaptability and the ability to drive change in dynamic market environments
- Comfort working in multicultural teams with strong cultural awareness and sensitivity
- Strong commitment to safety, integrity, and ethical business conduct
