Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Lead the creative direction for all school branding, marketing materials, exhibitions, and digital content.
Develop visual concepts that celebrate calligraphy, ornamentation, and cultural artistry.
Supervise and mentor a team of designers, artists, content creators, and photographers/videographers.
Coordinate with academic staff to produce visually compelling educational materials, course visuals, and promotional assets.
Manage creative production for exhibitions, student showcases, events, and workshops.

Ensure cohesive and high-quality visual identity across digital platforms, print materials, and on- campus signage.

Oversee photo/video shoots capturing student work, classes, and special events.
Stay updated with global and regional trends in calligraphy, typography, decorative arts, and design technologies.
Present creative ideas and strategies to leadership teams and collaborate with marketing and academic departments.

Desired Candidate Profile

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS

Desirable Qualification and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Fine Arts, Visual Communication, or a related creative field. ( A Master’s degree in a related field is preferable).

• Minimum 5 years of creative experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.

• Fluent in Arabic and English.

• Robust portfolio showcasing design leadership, cultural or artistic projects, and creative direction.

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere, XD/Figma).

• Strong storytelling, communication, and presentation skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines while maintaining artistic quality.

• Passion for cultural arts, craftsmanship, and educational environments.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.

• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to take on new challenges
