Roles & Responsibilities
Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cyber Security Analyst (Entry Level) to join our security organization. This role is designed for recent graduates who are passionate about cybersecurity and eager to gain hands-on experience while contributing to the protection of critical digital assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Security Monitoring: Continuously monitor security systems, networks, and applications for threats, vulnerabilities, or suspicious activity.
- Incident Response: Support in detecting, analyzing, and responding to cyber incidents. Work with senior analysts to contain and mitigate threats.
- Threat & Vulnerability Analysis: Perform basic threat analysis to identify emerging risks. Support vulnerability assessments and remediation efforts.
- Security Audits & Compliance: Participate in routine internal security audits and assessments to ensure policy compliance.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate logs, incident reports, and investigation documentation. Assist in updating security procedures and knowledge base materials.
- Collaboration: Work closely with IT and security teams to implement security measures and enhance overall security posture.
- Continuous Learning & Development: Participate in ongoing cybersecurity training programs and foundational Security Academy pathways to strengthen technical and professional skills.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Knowledge & Skills
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles, threat types, and industry best practices.
- Foundational knowledge in operating systems, networking, and security tools.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
Nice to Have (Not Required)
- Introductory familiarity with SIEM tools, vulnerability scanners, or incident response workflows.
- Interest in pursuing beginner-level cybersecurity certifications (e.g., Security+, CEH).
