Roles & Responsibilities

The Cybersecurity Architect will play a strategic role in strengthening the organization s security posture by leading architecture design, establishing minimum baseline security standards (MBSS), and ensuring cloud and on-prem environments are compliant and resilient. The role involves working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure cybersecurity is embedded at every stage of technology deployment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a secure architecture framework for IT, OT, and cloud environments
  • Design access controls, authentication protocols, and privileged access management (PAM) solutions
  • Establish secure network architecture including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and Zero Trust principles
  • Develop cloud security controls (focused on GCP) aligned with compliance and data protection standards
  • Define MBSS for key technologies, including operating systems and databases
  • Conduct security architecture reviews for both new initiatives and existing platforms
  • Work with project teams to ensure security controls are implemented prior to go-live
  • Deliver architecture frameworks and documentation in formats including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and PDF

Desired Candidate Profile

10+ years of experience in cybersecurity architecture, design, and security baseline developmentStrong knowledge of cloud security (GCP), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and enterprise security technologiesProven experience with payment systems, OT security, and secure systems integrationDeep understanding of cybersecurity compliance, including Saudi NCA regulations and international standardsExcellent communication and stakeholder engagement skillsRelevant certifications such as TOGAF, SABSA, or similar are strongly preferred
