Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

What you will do

  • Identify relevant AI use cases that give insights and increases process efficiency with regards to Svitzer operations, marine standards, customer needs and internal processes by collaborating with internal stakeholders from all functions.

  • Prepare AI use cases for implementation, obtain required technology related approvals and complete implementation.

  • Ensure safe and ethical implementation of AI projects, safeguarding data and privacy

Data Analysis

  • Perform data analysis to gain insights to support AMEA business operations, business development and internal processes for Regional office.

  • Ensure data analysis is performed consistently, automated where possible, supported by creation of dashboards.

  • Utilize existing tools and software for optimizing and automating data analysis processes

  • Communicate findings to internal stakeholders consistently ensuring internal satisfaction

Knowledge Management

  • Ensure aligned protocol and practice of knowledge management across AMEA region and Regional Office by standardizing knowledge management processes

  • Support on creation and standardization of knowledge management

Technology

  • Prepare use cases for Technology Board approval to ensure the latest tools and software are utilized for AI and Data Analysis insights

Desired Candidate Profile

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • Completion of Bachelor s or Master s degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, AI or similar field of study

  • Fluency in Arabic and English, both written and verbal

  • Affinity with the Maritime industry

  • Proficiency in AI applications including responsible use

  • Proficiency in Power BI

  • Proficiency in MS Office applications

  • Driven to learn new skills to grow, develop and perform at a high level

  • Strong problem-solving and project management skills

  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy

  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders

Requirements

  • This is an Emiratized role, it is open for UAE Nationals (with passport and family book) only

  • Traveling is not required for this role
