Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Position Summary
Under the supervision of the Director of Learning and Innovation, the Assessment and Data Coordinator is responsible
for ensuring that there is a robust and consistent collection of actionable data throughout the school. The Assessment
and Data Coordinator supports school leaders and teachers in interpreting and making decisions based on the data
collected throughout TKS. It is the responsibility of this individual to maintain a logical calendar of all assessments
conducted across the school KG-12 and to support the delivery of these assessments. The Assessment and Data
Coordinator works collaboratively with the divisional administration, the IB curriculum coordinators, and the IT Office.
Major Responsibilities -include but are not limited to -
• Work with the Director of Learning and Innovation to create and continuously improve a comprehensive
strategy for collecting, managing, and using data.
• Develop, maintain, and disseminate role-specific training for all staff members on utilizing data systems, tools,
and reports.
• Leads the development, organization, analysis, and reporting of student learning outcomes and related
activities to support planning activities.
• Collaborate with school and program leaders to develop and implement data cycles that drive continuous
improvement
• Work with teachers to assist them in the process of data triangulation and formulating the next steps
• Support the administration, collection, and interpretation of internal and external student, staff, and family
surveys
• Prepare data reports at regular intervals for administrators, curriculum coordinators, and pedagogical
coordinators
• Perform annual internal audits of every division to ensure proper data collection procedures.
• Collaborate with the IT Director in the monitoring of school systems to ensure proper data procedures for
data handling and extraction are being followed
• Skillfully use school-wide data analysis systems (Tableau, Power BI, LAC, Managebac, Powerschool, etc.)
• Provide strategic advice and consultation to leadership in developing, implementing, evaluating, and
enhancements to existing operations, systems, and procedures.
• Perform any other associated duties as assigned
Testing administration
• Liaise with testing organizations, renew annual licenses, ensure testing instructions are current, and manage
user accounts
• Prepare an annual testing calendar for Leadership approval
Qualifications
● A minimum of a bachelor’s degree; master’s degree is preferable
● Experience in delivering training
● Experience in an educational settin
