Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

The Data and Assessment Specialist will be involved in the following essential functions to support the effective management, analysis, and utilization of student assessment data across the Dubai Campus:

  • Create, develop, and maintain accurate and comprehensive data collection sheets for all grades, phases, and subjects across the campus, ensuring consistency and alignment with schoolwide assessment requirements.
  • Oversee the administration of external assessments including CAT4, Progress Tests, IBT, TALA, NGRT, and NWEA MAP and provide operational support to schools to ensure smooth and compliant implementation.
  • Produce a series of data reports throughout the academic year that offer detailed analyses of school, subject, and phase performance, including comparisons between internal and external results and trend analyses over time.
  • Support the delivery of high-quality assessment training for faculty and leaders, using a range of attainment and progress data to ensure alignment with ENS and KHDA assessment policies.
  • Monitor and track school-level assessment plans to ensure alignment with each School Development Plan (SDP) and Self-Evaluation Form (SEF).
  • Stay current with developments in the assessment landscape and provide timely, relevant, and accurate guidance to schools, updating assessment protocols and expectations as needed.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of KHDA policy and guidance, and support schools in meeting all KHDA assessment and data-related requirements.
  • Ensure all information, documents, and guidance materials on shared platforms such as SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Power BI, Engage, PowerSchool, and Toddle are accurate and current.
  • Update and maintain the school-level assessment policy to ensure full alignment with ENS and KHDA requirements.
  • Promote strong assessment practices through active participation in assessment meetings, sharing updates through assessment newsletters, and contributing to cross-campus discussions on assessment quality.
  • Serve as an active member of assessment teams at both central and school levels, supporting the execution of key actions, taking notes, and contributing to follow-up processes.
  • Support the campus with ad hoc analyses and reporting related to attendance, behavior, admissions, demographics, student destinations, and other school-level operational data as required.
  • Capture, analyze, and report annually on all formal examination results, including EmSAT, SAT, and AP performance.
  • Monitor international assessments, such as PISA, TIMSS, and PIRLS, prepare relevant reports, and support schools in developing action plans tied to each assessment cycle.
  • Engage fully with all academic reporting and student information systems and participate in the development of new IT infrastructure that may impact assessment processes.
