In our efforts to expand our team in Dubai, We are looking for an experienced database administrator with 2 to 5 years' experience to join our engineering team. You will be working with our engineers to keep the database up and running smoothly 24/7. The goal is to provide a seamless flow of information throughout the company and our customers.

We have a long history and tremendous experience in industrial glass processing as we develop state-of-the-art machines and systems from practical experience. Our goal is to be best in glass processing. We are in constant growth and offer our employees diverse perspectives to develop. We are looking for employees who are interested in glass processing to work internationally and to face their responsibilities.

Your Area of Responsibility:

• Proficiency in building and maintaining SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
• Build database systems of high availability and quality depending on each end users specialized role
• Design and implement database in accordance to end users information needs and views
• Define users and enable data distribution to the right user, in appropriate format and in a timely manner
• Use high-speed transaction recovery techniques and backup data
• Minimize database downtime and manage parameters to provide fast query responses
• Provide proactive and reactive data management support and training to users
• Determine, enforce and document database policies, procedures and standards
• Perform tests and evaluations regularly to ensure data security, privacy and integrity
• Monitor database performance, implement changes and apply new patches and versions when required

Our Requirements:

• Degree in IT or equivalent - undergraduates do not apply
• Should have a valid passport
• Meaningful experience working on large, complex systems.
• Proven working experience as a Database Administrator
• Hands-on experience with database standards and end user applications
• Excellent knowledge of data backup, recovery, security, integrity and SQL
• A positive mindset and can-do attitude
• Good spoken and written communication skills in English
• Structured and accurate way of working with high-quality awareness.
• Team player with good communication skills
• Candidates who are ready to fly to Dubai after selection.
