Dawood Engineering Consultancy was established by John Snellgrove in 1975 as an architecture firm in Oman. Architect Dawood Al Futaisi joined him as working partner in 1998. In the year of 2003, the company’s operations were completely Omanized and they started afresh under the name Dawood Engineering Consultancy (DEC). From offering only architectural services, the company also ventured into offering engineering consultancy services. Due to its massive growth, the company has established itself as a prominent market player in the architecture and engineering industry and has opened a branch office in Sohar. The company has won many awards and accreditations. Some of them are:
• Registered for Grade 1 and Grade 2 as a consultant company with the Distribution Code Review Panel
