Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Generate new business by selling delegate packages to companies across the global energy sector.

Prospect and engage with new clients while nurturing relationships with existing ones to ensure repeat business.

Take full ownership of assigned regions and client portfolios, delivering against revenue targets and KPIs.

Research and map the delegate landscape to identify trends, opportunities, and prospective client organisations.

Work closely with marketing and data teams to develop targeted campaigns and sales strategies.

Collaborate with sponsorship, exhibition, and content teams to ensure integrated client engagement.

Attend conferences to secure re-signs and generate commitments for future editions.

Desired Candidate Profile

6-12 months of B2B telesales or delegate sales experience, ideally within the energy or events sector.

Proven track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets.

Strong consultative sales approach with excellent objection-handling and closing skills.

Excellent written and spoken business English; additional languages such as Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, or Chinese are an advantage.

CRM proficiency (Salesforce or equivalent) alongside strong Microsoft Office skills.

Highly self-motivated, commercially astute, and results-focused.

Strong communication, interpersonal, and networking skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and work to tight deadlines.
