Job Overview:

The Demand Manager will be responsible for ensuring that Indusland Logistics is equipped to meet the demands of its clients at all times. This role requires strategic thinking, effective communication, and the ability to solve problems in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing resources, optimizing processes, and identifying areas for improvement to ensure that our company remains competitive in the market.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to identify customer needs and demand trends

Develop and maintain forecasting models and demand planning systems

Analyze and evaluate data to forecast future demand and plan accordingly

Create and implement strategies to meet demand and optimize inventory levels

Coordinate with procurement and production teams to ensure supply meets demand

Monitor and track inventory levels and proactively identify potential supply issues

Make recommendations for price adjustments based on demand and market conditions

Provide regular reports on demand trends and key performance indicators

Continuously improve demand planning processes and systems

Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure alignment of demand and supply

Keep up-to-date with industry trends and customer behavior to anticipate future demand patterns

Identify and lead cost-saving initiatives related to demand planning and forecasting

Qualifications:

Bachelor s degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field

3-5 years of experience in demand planning or supply chain management

Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze and interpret data

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Proven experience in forecasting and demand planning systems

Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy

Proactive with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

Knowledge of logistics and transportation industry is a plus

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools
