Roles & Responsibilities
We are seeking a talented and passionate Demi Chef specializing in Arabic cuisine to join our culinary team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a Demi Chef in our Arabic kitchen, you will play a crucial role in creating authentic and delicious Arabic dishes while maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
- Prepare and cook a variety of Arabic dishes, ensuring consistency and adherence to traditional recipes and techniques
- Assist the Chef de Partie in daily kitchen operations and menu planning
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and timely food preparation
- Contribute to menu development and recipe refinement
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in Arabic cooking techniques and practices
- Manage inventory and assist with ordering supplies as needed
- Ensure proper storage and handling of ingredients and prepared foods
- Adapt to changing priorities and handle high-pressure situations effectively
