• Follow supervisors' instructions as to which parts to restore or replace and how much time the job should take.
• Remove damaged sections of vehicles using metal-cutting guns, air grinders and wrenches, and install replacement parts using wrenches or welding equipment.
• Repairing vehicles in accordance with dealer/distributor standards, within flat rate time Ensuring that the assigned body repair jobs are executed in line with standard operational procedures and specifications of TMC & Distributor, timing, and housekeeping standards so that overall objectives in terms of productivity and quality are being met or exceeded
• Complete all vehicle body panels & work up to the standard of the manufacturer
• Complete any additional Fabrication and modifications work in agreed timescales to ensure client satisfaction Repair damage to metal body work on vehicles and form replacement vehicle panels Remove damaged panels and parts or remove upholstery and accessories to gain access Straighten damaged vehicles and parts using mechanical and hydraulic equipment Repairs panels by welding on new sections
• Inform the Supervisor of any additional work required other than as mentioned on the job card based on the condition of the fleet
• Ensuring time started and completed are entered on Rthe epair Order
• Possessing a complete set of tools, as per distributor requirements, and maintaining in good working order Accepting responsibility for supporting apprentices/helpers via training/explanation/ practice, the necessary skills required to perform the job correctly, thereafter, to inspect/monitor the work and rectify any problems
• Placing all replaced body parts in proper location and disposing all waste materials appropriately.
