Roles & Responsibilities
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a results-driven Deputy Manager – Sales to lead and grow our industrial products business. This role is responsible for managing key accounts, developing new business, and driving revenue targets across sectors such as manufacturing, oil & gas, construction, and allied industries. The incumbent will work closely with senior sales leadership to execute market strategies and build long-term client relationships.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Own and achieve assigned sales targets and revenue budgets for the industrial product portfolio.
Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities across target verticals and geographies.
Manage and grow existing key accounts through regular engagement, contract renewals, and upselling.
Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, technical presentations, and commercial negotiations.
Coordinate with supply chain, logistics, and operations teams to ensure timely order fulfilment.
Track market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform sales strategy.
Maintain accurate records of sales pipeline, forecasts, and client interactions in CRM systems.
Support the Sales Head in preparing monthly/quarterly business reviews and strategic plans.
Guide and mentor junior sales executives to build overall team capability.
Represent the company at industry events, trade exhibitions, and client visits.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
6–10 years of B2B sales experience, with at least 3 years in industrial products, gases, equipment, or allied sectors.
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a competitive market.
Strong commercial acumen with experience in contract negotiations and pricing.
Exposure to key industrial verticals: oil & gas, petrochemicals, manufacturing, or construction.
Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office, and sales reporting.
Valid UAE driving license preferred.
Soft Skills
Exceptional analytical thinking with an ability to connect data points into strategic narratives.
Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting to senior executives.
Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple projects under tight deadlines.
Collaborative team player with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
