Established in the year 1977, Descon Engineering is a multi-dimensional engineering, construction and manufacturing company operating in Pakistan and the Middle East. It is a major player serving the oil and gas, chemical, petrochemical, cement, power and infrastructure sectors in the region. Headquartered in Lahore, Pakistan, the company is well-established in United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia. However, various projects are executed in Iraq, Oman and Egypt as well. It also owns Descon Integrated Projects Limited (DIPL)- a state-of-the-art engineering office with nearly 500 design personnel. Descon operates seven fabrication/manufacturing facilities in the region to supply industrial process equipment and bulk items like piping spools and steel structure.
