Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Installation: Supervise and carry out the installation of engines and associated equipment.
  • Maintenance: Perform scheduled and preventative maintenance on engines and components to prevent failures and maximize uptime.
  • Repair & Overhaul: Diagnose technical issues, perform repairs, and conduct full overhauls of engines and auxiliary equipment.
  • Troubleshooting :Use a systematic approach, including diagnostic tools and analysis, to identify and rectify faults.
  • Customer Support: Provide technical assistance, training, and clear communication with clients and internal departments.
  • Documentation: Complete detailed service reports, strip reports, and other documentation for job tracking and client information.
  • Site Management: Manage work on customer sites, including coordinating with clients, planning work, and ensuring necessary tools and parts are available.
  • Safety: Adhere to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies, including performing risk assessments and using personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Technical Expertise: Leverage a deep understanding of engines, mechanical systems, and relevant control systems.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, with a strong focus on diesel technology.
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in diesel engine maintenance and repair, preferably in marine repair
