Job Title: Diesel Generator Technician

Reports To: Maintenance Supervisor / Workshop Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Diesel Generator Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the inspection, diagnosis, maintenance, and repair of diesel engines and related systems in a variety of vehicles or machinery. You will play a key role in ensuring optimal performance, safety, and reliability of diesel-powered equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

Inspect and diagnose issues in diesel engines using diagnostic tools.

Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks.

Repair or replace faulty components (e.g., injectors, turbochargers, fuel systems, pumps).

Conduct engine overhauls and rebuilds as needed.

Test engine performance after repairs to ensure proper functioning.

Maintain accurate service records and documentation of work performed.

Follow safety procedures and guidelines at all times.

Stay updated with the latest technologies and repair techniques in diesel engine systems.

Collaborate with other team members and departments for efficient workflow.


Requirements:

LT/TS degree in Mechanics, Diesel Engines, or related field.

1 4 years of experience in diesel engine repair (fresh graduates are welcome to apply).

Strong knowledge of diesel engine components and systems.

Good problem-solving and communication skills.

Physical strength and stamina to work on heavy machinery.

Attention to detail and a commitment to safety.


Preferred Qualifications:

3+ years of experience as a professional diesel technician.

Certification from a recognized technical institute.

Experience with generators, trucks, or industrial diesel systems.

Ability to use diagnostic and repair tools.
