Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic Director – HSEQ to lead and drive the Group-wide Health, Safety, Environment & Quality strategy across Aviation Operations, Airport Catering, and Food Production facilities.

The role ensures full compliance with aviation safety regulations, food safety standards, and international ISO frameworks, while promoting a zero-incident, zero-contamination culture across multi-site and airside/landside operations.


Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and execute integrated HSEQ strategy across Aviation and F&B business units.

  • Align Safety Management Systems (SMS) with food safety and quality management frameworks.

  • Drive a proactive safety and food safety culture across airport, catering, and production sites.

Regulatory & Certification Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with GCAA, ICAO, IATA regulations and airport authority requirements.

  • Ensure adherence to HACCP, ISO 22000, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 standards.

  • Lead external audits, regulatory inspections, and certification renewals.

Risk & Operational Excellence

  • Oversee airside safety, operational risk assessments, food safety hazard analysis (HACCP), and environmental risk mitigation.

  • Lead incident investigations (RCA, ICAM, 5 Why) across aviation and food production environments.

  • Establish emergency response, crisis management, and contamination control procedures.

  • Implement HSEQ dashboards, KPIs, and executive reporting frameworks.

Sustainability & Performance

  • Drive environmental sustainability, waste reduction, and ESG initiatives.

  • Manage departmental budgets, manpower planning, and capability development.

  • Ensure CAPA effectiveness and continuous improvement across all facilities.



Desired Candidate Profile

Requirements

  • 12+ years progressive HSEQ experience in Aviation, Airport Catering, Inflight Services, or Large-Scale Food Production.

  • 6+ years in senior or group-level HSEQ leadership role.

  • Strong knowledge of Aviation Safety Management Systems (SMS) and Food Safety Management Systems (FSMS).

  • Proven expertise in ISO standards, HACCP, audits, compliance, and regulatory liaison.

  • NEBOSH / IOSH / Lead Auditor certifications (Mandatory).

  • Bachelor’s degree in HSE, Food Science, Engineering, Aviation Management, or related field.

  • Master’s degree preferred.
