Company and Position Description :

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a leader in its sector of activity, a Citrus Agriculture Production Director.

Misson:

• Manage and optimize all agricultural production activities related to citrus fruit cultivation (planting, maintenance, harvesting), with a focus on operational performance, quality, sustainability and profitability.

Responsabilit s cl s :

1. Management of agricultural operations

• Supervise the technical management of orchards: irrigation, fertilization, phytosanitary treatments, pruning, harvesting.
• Ensure the planning and monitoring of crop campaigns.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety and traceability standards.

2. Human resources management

• Supervise and lead teams in the field (crop managers, farm workers).
• Define labor needs according to seasons and manage recruitment in conjunction with HR.

3. Economic monitoring and reporting

• develop and monitor the operating budget.
• Control costs, optimize inputs and improve yields.
• Produce regular reports for management (technical, economic, HR).

4. Quality and certification

• Ensure compliance of agricultural practices with specifications
• Participate in quality audits and implement corrective action plans.

5. Maintenance and equipment

• Ensure the availability and performance of agricultural equipment.
• Supervise the maintenance of infrastructure (pumping stations, irrigation systems, tracks, etc.).

Profile
:

Formation :

• Diploma in agricultural engineering

Exp rience :

• Minimum 8-10 years of experience in agricultural production, including at least 5 years in a management or coordination role.
• Proven experience in growing citrus fruits (or similar perennial crops: olive trees, date palms, etc.)

Comp tences techniques :

• Excellent mastery of technical routes in fruit growing.
• Strong skills in irrigation, fertilization, plant protection.
• Good knowledge of certification standards
• Managerial and behavioral skills:
• Strong leadership, organizational skills and rigor.
• Ability to motivate and manage operational teams.
• Good management of stress and unforeseen events.
• Sense of responsibility, autonomy, results orientation.
