Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Director of Human Resources
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deploy the HR policy in line with the overall strategy of the company.
- Manage staff, skills, and organization to meet production challenges.
Recruitment & retention:
- Supervise the recruitment of key profiles (workers, technicians, managers).
- Develop the retention policy and reduce turnover.
- Implement integration processes adapted to the sector (high seasonality).
Training & skills development:
- Develop the training plan and ensure its execution.
- Optimize the management and use of the training tax.
- Develop skills development (safety, hygiene, quality standards, management).
Social management & union relations:
- Manage social dialogue and maintain a healthy social climate.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and collective agreements.
- Negotiate with social partners and prevent conflicts.
Staff administration & payroll:
- Supervise payroll management and employment contracts.
- Ensure administrative compliance (occupational medicine, CNAS, labor inspections).
- Monitor staff and HR indicators.
Health, safety & regulatory compliance:
- Manage the HSE policy in collaboration with the QHSE department.
- Ensure compliance with agri-food standards (hygiene, food safety, traceability).
- Deploy actions to prevent occupational risks.
HR monitoring & reporting:
- Monitor HR indicators (turnover, absenteeism, social climate, work accidents).
- Report to the General Management and propose areas for improvement.
Desired Candidate Profile
Candidate Profile:
- Training: Bac+5 in Human Resources, Social Law, Management or equivalent.
- Experience: 10 years minimum, ideally in the agri-food or industrial sector.
Technical skills:
- Labor law and social relations.
- Training management and training tax.
- Payroll & personnel administration.
- QHSE standards and hygiene/safety in the agri-food environment.
Soft skills:
- Leadership and influence.
- Sense of the field and proximity with the teams.
- Crisis management and negotiation.
- Analytical and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Mastery of ERP tools.
