Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Unified Framework: Design and implement a standardized global technology architecture that aligns all regional offices with corporate objectives.
- Infrastructure Modernization: Transition legacy systems to scalable, cloud-based environments, ensuring 99.9% uptime for critical aviation maintenance and supply chain applications.
- Cybersecurity & Compliance: Establish world-class security protocols to protect proprietary data and ensure compliance with international aviation data regulations.
- Predictive Analytics: Implement AI models for predictive maintenance, allowing the organization to forecast component failures and optimize inventory levels.
- Machine Learning (ML): Use ML to enhance procurement strategies and pricing models, ensuring Skyways Technics remains the most efficient provider in the market.
- Data Governance: Establish a global Single Source for data, enabling real-time executive decision-making through advanced BI dashboards.
- ERP Implementation and Integration: Oversee the global rollout and optimization of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems to replace manual tracking and workflows.
- Robotic Process Automation (RPA): Identify and automate high-volume, repetitive tasks within finance, HR, and logistics to increase operational velocity.
- Workflow Digitization: Lead the Paperless Facility initiative, digitizing technical records and shop floor documentation for seamless global access.
- Executive Leadership: Serve as a key member of the executive team, advising on the technical feasibility of new business ventures and facility expansions.
- Take over the full responsibilities of the existing Skyways IT Infrastructure and Teams.
- Budgetary Oversight: Manage the global CAPEX and OPEX technology budgets, ensuring high ROI on all digital transformations.
- Vendor Management: Negotiate and manage global contracts with hardware, software, and telecommunications providers to ensure cost-efficiency.
- Talent Development: Build and mentor a high-performing global technology team, fostering a culture of innovation, agility, and continuous learning.
Desired Candidate Profile
- 8-10 Years experience in progressive technology leadership roles, with at least 3 years at a director or C- Suite level.
- Masters or Bachelors in Computer Science, with focus on Artificial Intelligence
- Proven track record of deploying AI/ML solutions that resulted in measurable operational and process efficiency and cost savings.
- Proven track record of ERP system change(s) with efficiency gain
- Preferably worked in Aviation, Aerospace or Logistics industry
- Deep understanding and knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS or Azure), ERP systems and modern API Integrations.
- Exceptional cross cultural and multicultural communication skills to translate complex technical concepts for non technical stakeholders
