Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Create and modify detailed technical drawings of architectural, structural, mechanical, or electrical systems using CAD software, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications and industry standards.
  • Conduct thorough site visits to verify existing conditions and accurately document as-built conditions, including measurements, dimensions, and any deviations from original designs.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, architects, and contractors to gather necessary information, clarify design details, and resolve any discrepancies found during the as-built process.
  • Update and maintain as-built drawings throughout the construction phase, incorporating changes, revisions, and field modifications to reflect the final built environment.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a Diploma or Associate's degree in Drafting, Architecture, Engineering Technology, or a related field; a Bachelor's degree is a plus.

  • Demonstrates proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant CAD software, with experience in 2D and 3D drafting and modeling.

  • Has a minimum of 8 years of experience in drafting and as-built documentation, preferably within the construction or engineering industries.

  • Exhibits a strong understanding of architectural, structural, mechanical, or electrical systems and their respective drawing conventions.
