Proficiently use AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and other CAD tools to produce accurate Fire & Life Safety system drawings in accordance with UAE Civil Defence standards.

Prepare and develop Fire Alarm, Emergency Lighting, Voice Evacuation, VESDA system,and Central Battery System (CBS) shop drawings from IFC drawings.

Ensure all FLS drawings comply with Dubai Civil Defence (DCD) and Abu Dhabi Civil Defence (ADCD) codes, standards, and submission formats.

Prepare Civil Defence submission drawings and documentation in line with authority templates, including legends, control diagrams, zoning layouts, and equipment schedules.

Support the engineering team in coordinating with Civil Defence-approved consultants and contractors for authority submissions and approvals.

Apply Computer-Aided Design (2D, 3D, and graphics) techniques for scaling, dimensioning, and precise layout development.

Interpret and convert consultant specifications, design requirements, and technical sketches into constructible and compliant shop drawings.

Ensure all Fire & Life Safety drawings are properly coordinated with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other MEP services to avoid site conflicts.

Collaborate with Fire & Life Safety engineers, consultants, and project managers to resolve technical discrepancies, clarify design intent, and ensure compliance with local authority requirements.

Maintain knowledge of UAE Fire & Life Safety Code of Practice, DCD/ADCD regulations, and updates to authority guidelines.

Review and incorporate consultant/client feedback while maintaining revision control, versioning, and accurate documentation.

Coordinate with site and installation teams to verify that drawings align with on-site execution and inspection requirements by Civil Defence authorities.

Maintain well-organized records of all drawings, revisions, authority correspondence, and as-built documentation for quality assurance and final project handover.
