Drilling Rig Foreman (Drilling and Workover)

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate drilling and workover operations, ensuring compliance with safety policies and contractual requirements.
• Manage rig crews and contractors to ensure work is performed safely, on schedule, and within budget.
• Monitor well progress and performance, making necessary adjustments and recommendations to improve efficiency and safety.
• Ensure timely delivery and availability of well materials and equipment for operations.
• Maintain accurate daily drilling reports and documentation.
• Coordinate with engineering and other departments to implement best practices and modern drilling techniques.
• Ensure equipment is properly maintained to minimize downtime and enhance safety.
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure all rig personnel adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations.

• Minimum 13 years of relevant experience in drilling and workover operations, including supervisory roles ideally gained through progression on drilling or workover rigs.
• OR B.S. degree in Engineering with at least 7 years of hands-on drilling and workover experience including supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of drilling and workover equipment, techniques, and safety standards.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to lead and motivate teams.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to live and work in remote locations and harsh conditions, including mobile camps.
