Driveability Calibration Engineer
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
•
Requirement Analysis : Understand and interpret customer specifications related to driveability.
•
Engine and Vehicle Calibration :
•
Adjust engine control laws (maps, thresholds, delays) impacting acceleration response, torque, gear shifts, etc.
•
Optimize strategies for various driving modes (urban, highway, motorway, extreme conditions).
•
Bench and On-Road Validation :
•
Conduct tests on engine dynamometers and chassis dynamometers.
•
Carry out driving campaigns (track, road, climatic testing).
•
Participate in real-world testing missions (hot/cold trips).
•
Data Analysis : Use measurement recordings (INCA, ETAS, Vector, Matlab) to assess performance and identify improvements.
•
Project Management : Plan, track, and report driveability calibration activities.
•
Technical Interface : Collaborate with emissions, performance, OBD, transmission calibration teams, and suppliers.
YOUR PROFILE:
•
Education : Master s degree or Engineering diploma in mechanical, electromechanical, automotive engineering, or equivalent.
•
Experience : 1 3 years in engine/driveability calibration (internship or employment), or significant experience in vehicle testing.
•
Languages : Proficiency in French and technical English.
•
Personal Qualities : Attention to detail, rigor, responsiveness, teamwork skills, and interest in field testing.
•
Mobility : Based in Casablanca and/or Oued Zem.
•
Strong knowledge of engine management systems (ECU, control software, electronic architecture).
•
Proficiency with calibration and data acquisition tools (INCA, MDA ).
•
Knowledge of standards and regulations (emissions, OBD, Euro 6/7 ).
•
Ability to interpret curves and data from engine/vehicle measurements.
•
Knowledge of vehicle dynamics and engine/transmission interaction.
