Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Operate heavy vehicles like dump trucks, bulldozers, and excavators safely on construction sites and public roads, ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in optimal working condition and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Load and unload materials efficiently, utilizing proper lifting techniques and equipment to prevent injury and ensure safety on site.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours and vehicle maintenance as per company policies and regulatory requirements, ensuring transparency and accountability.
Desired Candidate Profile
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in heavy vehicle operation is a plus.
A valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with endorsements for heavy vehicle operation and a clean driving record.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in driving heavy vehicles, preferably in construction or freight transport industries.
Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance practices and basic troubleshooting skills to address minor repairs.
