Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Safely operate heavy trucks over long distances, ensuring timely delivery of goods while adhering to traffic regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations, addressing any mechanical issues immediately.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, miles traveled, and freight details to comply with transportation regulations and company policies.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, ensuring that all items are secured and properly distributed within the vehicle.
Desired Candidate Profile
High school diploma or equivalent, with additional vocational training in truck driving preferred.
Valid Heavy Driver's License with a clean driving record, ensuring compliance with local and federal laws.
Minimum of 2 years of experience driving heavy trucks in a commercial environment within UAE with knowledge of all routes within UAE and the port operations, demonstrating reliability and skill.
Familiarity with DOT regulations and safety standards specific to heavy truck operations in the transportation industry.
