Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Safely operate a light vehicle, ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations and safety protocols on every journey.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, identifying and reporting any mechanical issues to maintain vehicle integrity and safety.
- Efficiently plan and navigate routes to optimize delivery times while minimizing fuel consumption and wear on the vehicle.
- Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel usage, and delivery schedules, contributing to effective fleet management.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in defensive driving or vehicle maintenance are a plus.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record, showcasing reliability and responsibility behind the wheel.
- A minimum of 2 years of driving experience, preferably in a light vehicle delivery or transportation role.
- Familiarity with local and regional roadways, enhancing efficiency in route planning and execution.
