Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Oversee, implement, and evolve all operation, housekeeping, cleaning process and procedures. Tackle internal and external customers’ requirements and issues resolved on timely manner. Place corrective actions for non-conformance reports and maintaining high level of product quality and on time performance (OTP).

Desired Candidate Profile

- Develop comprehensive (SOPs)/strategies and plans to optimize , housekeeping & Cleaning , and operations in alignment with organizational goals and objectives.

- Recruit, train, and supervise a team of attendants, housekeepers, and technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure they perform their duties effectively.

- Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and implement training programs to enhance staff skills and productivity.

- Implement rigorous quality control measures to maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and pest-free standards throughout the facility.

- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and documents the findings with proper corrective and disciplinary actions.

- Report all nonconformance, investigate and implement corrective actions to the operations manager.

- Evaluate the level preparations and planning to ensure the smooth operation of all sections and draw the attention of all section supervisors to immediate required solutions to enhance the operations.

- Ensure HSE, hygiene and security guidelines are strictly followed by all staffs in the sections.

- Ensure any irregularities are properly recorded by supervisors and the initial investigation is properly carried out and all relevant documentations is enclosed with the findings for the management review.

- Initiate required disciplinary action for the staffs within the departments or with HR as applicable.

- Wearing the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as appropriate to the operational environment and service being provided.

- Handling chemicals based on the provided instruction by the chemical supplier.

- Follow all department SOP`s.

- Manage inventory levels of cleaning supplies, chemicals, and materials, optimizing stock levels to minimize waste and costs.

- Coordinate equipment maintenance and repairs to ensure machines, cleaning tools, and devices are in good working condition.

- Foster positive relationships with residents, guests, and staff by addressing any concerns or issues related to services, housekeeping & Cleaning standards, or management promptly and professionally.

- Implement feedback mechanisms to gather input from stakeholders and continuously improve service delivery.

Develop KPI`s and manage budgets for , housekeeping & Cleaning , for operations, monitoring expenses and identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.

- Identify opportunities for process optimization, technology integration, and service enhancements to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

- Develop contingency plans and protocols to respond effectively to emergencies such as spills, outbreaks of pests, or other unforeseen incidents.

- Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to mitigate risks and minimize disruptions to operations.-

Review and finalize relevant operational documents (e.g., HACCP) to prove compliance with regulations.

- Recommend new equipment and procedures for improvements and efficient performance of the departments.

- Establish training and career development plan for supervisory levels on the departments.

- Ensure prompt response on communications, correspondences, or any information requested is submitted within the stipulated time.

Deputize the operations manager in his absence.
