Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure and maintain items, item variants, and related master data within D365 Retail.
  • Manage and implement item price configurations and ensure alignment with business pricing strategies.
  • Design, configure, and manage promotions and discounts including:
    • Flat discounts
    • Bundle offers
    • Quantity-based discounts
    • Threshold discounts
    • Concurrency management between multiple discount types
  • Set up and maintain store configurations, including store groups, price groups, and customer groups.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration between Retail POS, HQ, and other business systems.
  • Support UAT and Go-Live activities, ensuring smooth rollout of retail solutions.
  • Contribute to continuous process improvement and share best practices across teams.

Desired Candidate Profile

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 3–4 years of hands-on experience as a D365 F&O Retail Functional Consultant.
  • Strong knowledge in item configuration, price setup, and promotion management.
  • Expertise in all types of discount configurations and concurrency handling.
  • Practical understanding of store setups, store groups, price groups, and customer configurations.
  • Knowledge of item variants and their behavior across channels.
  • Exposure to retail operations such as POS, channel database, and CDX will be an added advantage (optional).
