Roles & Responsibilities

Job purpose

Our client is seeking a dynamic and results-driven E-commerce Manager to lead and scale the online FMCG operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving digital sales, optimizing platform performance, and aligning e-commerce strategy with the Group CEO s vision. This role demands strategic thinking, hands-on execution and cross-functional coordination to deliver measurable growth across multiple product categories.

This role is based in Dubai and requires a candidate with 5+ years of e-commerce experience, preferably in FMCG or consumer goods.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the e-commerce roadmap for FMCG products, aligned with corporate objectives and CEO directives.
  • Platform Management: Oversee operations across marketplaces (Amazon, Noon, Carrefour, etc.) and direct-to-consumer platforms. Ensure optimal product listings, pricing and inventory accuracy.
  • Sales & Performance Optimization: Monitor KPIs including conversion rates, ROAS, AOV, and customer retention. Implement strategies to improve traffic, engagement, and revenue.
  • Digital Marketing Coordination: Collaborate with internal and external teams to manage SEO, SEM, paid ads, influencer campaigns, and promotional calendars.
  • Product & Content Strategy: Ensure compelling product descriptions, images and brand messaging tailored to target audiences and platform algorithms.
  • Inventory & Fulfilment Oversight: Coordinate with supply chain and warehouse teams to ensure timely order fulfilment, stock accuracy, and minimal returns.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Provide weekly and monthly performance reports to the Group CEO, highlighting insights, risks and growth opportunities.
  • Team & Vendor Management: Lead internal e-commerce staff and manage external agencies, freelancers and platform account managers.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor s or master s degree in business, Marketing, or related field.

5+ years of e-commerce experience, preferably in FMCG or consumer goods.

Proven success in scaling online sales and managing multi-platform operations.

Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Google Analytics, Excel and marketplace dashboards.

Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Familiarity with UAE/GCC market dynamics and consumer behaviour is a plus.
