Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  1. Lead and manage all E&I maintenance activities for conveyors, stackers, reclaimers, crushers, ship loaders/unloaders, and associated systems

  2. Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs

  3. Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and instrumentation faults to minimize downtime

  4. Oversee calibration, testing, and maintenance of field instruments (sensors, transmitters, analyzers, etc.)

  5. Manage PLC, SCADA, and control systems for plant automation and optimization

  6. Plan and execute shutdowns, breakdown maintenance, and major repairs

  7. Ensure compliance with safety standards, electrical codes, and company policies

  8. Lead, train, and supervise maintenance engineers, technicians, and contractors

  9. Maintain maintenance records, reports, and documentation

  10. Coordinate with operations, mechanical teams, and external vendors

  11. Monitor spare parts inventory and control maintenance costs

Desired Candidate Profile

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering or related field

  2. 14–18 years of experience in E&I maintenance in bulk material handling, cement, mining, or port operations

  3. Strong knowledge of PLCs (Siemens, Allen-Bradley), SCADA/DCS systems, motors, drives (VFDs), MCCs, switchgear, and field instrumentation

  4. Experience with large-scale conveyor systems and automation

  5. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

  6. Knowledge of safety standards and best practices

  7. Immediate or short notice joining preferred
