SETS is on the look for a Economic Specialist to join its Planning and Portfolio Department in Madinah. The jobholder reports to the Planning and Portfolio Director.

• Minimum of 6 to 10 years of experience in investment studies and feasibility studies
• Bachelor s degree in economics or a related field from an accredited university
• Thorough knowledge of local and international requirements for economic studies, especially those of the Ministry of Finance and the Efficiency and Government Projects Authority
• Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)
• CAPM from PMI
• PMP from PMI
• ICAEW Certificate in Finance, Accounting, and Business (CFAB)
• Certified Management Accountant (CMA) from IIMA
• Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA)
• Proficiency in spoken and written Arabic
• Proficiency in spoken and written English

• Prepare specialized economic documents and reports, offer recommendations and suitable solutions, present and clarify them, and store them in the database according to approved policies and procedure
• Propose alternative solutions and procedures to improve and stimulate economic conditions and contribute to framing economic policy
• Study and analyze statistical information, diagnose economic problems and bottlenecks, and analyze their causes
• Ensure timely release of economic statistics and ensure their relevance to objectives and compliance with budget items, including approval of major releases
• Identify and develop new economic indicators to meet client needs
• Prepare and review feasibility studies and economic analyses for projects
• Compare investment opportunities and select the best alternatives according to agency requirements
• Perform other tasks as assigned by direct supervisors
