Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Design and deliver jewelry education programs, including diamond grading principles (4Cs – Cut, Color, Clarity, Carat)
- Train retail staff on gemstone identification, certification, and product knowledge
- Educate teams on luxury customer service techniques and brand positioning
- Create and maintain training materials, manuals, and visual aids
- Assess learning effectiveness through feedback and performance evaluation
- Stay current with gemological trends, certifications, and retail innovations
- Travel to stores or events as required to conduct training sessions
- Support onboarding and development of new sales staff
Desired Candidate Profile
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the retail jewelry industry (preferably with international brands)
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in diamond grading and evaluation
- Graduate Gemologist (GG) certification preferred; other gemology certifications/courses accepted
- Bachelor’s degree in a science-related discipline
- Fluent in English and Hindi (knowledge of Arabic is an added advantage)
- Confident public speaker with excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability and willingness to travel for training and educational events
- Currently based in Dubai
