Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
-
Design and develop electrical power, lighting, ELV, and grounding systems
-
Prepare load calculations, single line diagrams (SLDs), layouts, BOQs, and technical documentation
-
Ensure compliance with Kahramaa, QCS, IEC, and BS standards
-
Coordinate with HVAC, architectural, and structural teams throughout design development
-
Review shop drawings, material submittals, and contractor technical proposals
-
Support authority approvals, design reviews, and technical meetings
-
Conduct site visits and provide design clarifications and technical support as required
Desired Candidate Profile
Requirements
-
Bachelor s Degree in Electrical Engineering
-
Minimum 8 years of professional experience, including at least 5 years in Qatar
-
Prior experience within an engineering consultancy environment
-
UPDA Certification Mandatory
-
Proficiency in Arabic (required) and English (professional level)
-
Must hold a valid QID with transferable visa
Preferred Profile
-
Strong understanding of local authority processes and electrical codes
-
Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary project teams
-
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple design tasks effectively
