Electrical Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed electrical designs and specifications for various projects and applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure technical accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Analyze project requirements and propose efficient, cost-effective design solutions.
• Prepare design documentation, including schematics, layouts, and bills of materials.
• Conduct simulations and performance tests to validate the effectiveness of design concepts.
• Review and approve electrical drawings and designs prepared by junior engineers.
• Coordinate with manufacturing teams to facilitate successful production and implementation.
• Participate in design review meetings and provide expert input on electrical engineering topics.
• Support troubleshooting and resolution of electrical design-related issues during and after production.
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements to integrate cutting-edge technologies.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations throughout the design process.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of design procedures and methodologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical design engineering or similar roles.
• Proficient in using design software such as AutoCAD, EPLAN, or equivalent tools.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, components, and manufacturing processes.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple projects.
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to electrical design and safety.
