Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Design and develop electrical systems and components, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Conduct detailed analyses of electrical systems, using simulation software to predict performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical designs into larger projects, ensuring seamless functionality.
- Manage project timelines and budgets, delivering results on time while maintaining high quality and safety standards.
- Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis on electrical equipment failures, implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime.
- Prepare and present technical documentation, including specifications, reports, and user manuals, for stakeholders.
- Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems to verify functionality and compliance.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends, continuously seeking innovative solutions to enhance system efficiency.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for electrical projects to ensure safety and reliability.
- Mentor junior engineers and interns, fostering a collaborative environment to enhance team knowledge and skills.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field from an accredited institution.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or relevant certifications, demonstrating expertise and commitment to the field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in electrical engineering roles, preferably within manufacturing or energy sectors.
- Experience with CAD software and simulation tools, showcasing proficiency in design and analysis.
- Strong understanding of power systems, control systems, and electronics, ensuring a well-rounded technical skill set.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, coupled with a keen analytical mindset to tackle complex engineering challenges.
- Effective communication skills in both verbal and written forms, facilitating clear collaboration with diverse teams.
- Demonstrated project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proactive and adaptable attitude, willing to learn and embrace new technologies and methodologies.
- Fluency in English, with additional language skills considered an asset for global project collaboration.
