Electrical Estimation Manager / Lead TTE

To develop estimates for tender bids based on tender drawings, specifications, schedules and other tender documents. Costing sheet preparation using excel.

To understand and analyze the tender technical specifications/ tender documents.

Good understanding of tender drawings.

To collaborate with vendors to get competitive and technical compliant quotations.

To analyze the different quotations and establish the feasible cost as per technical requirements of client and consultants.

To develop cost analysis, Quantity take off, Equipment schedule, load calculations, Cable schedule, cost comparisons, technical analysis and detailed costing for a tender project.

To follow different estimation formats provided by Manager for effective estimation and reporting.

Good Knowledge of Electrical systems (LV Panels, MCC’s, SMDB’s, DB’s, Control Panels, UPS, CBS systems, LV Cables, Point wiring, Cable Containment systems, Earthing system, Lightning protection system, Fire Alarm System, Lighting control system, Telephone and data systems, Other ELV Systems).

To effectively manage the changes/upgradations in tender documents and consider it in bid preparation.

To effectively manage the staff (Draftsmen and GET’s) & other resources provided by organization to carry out estimation.

Understanding of overseas jobs especially Middle East location (UAE).

To follow time lines as per tender submission schedule and devote extra hours voluntarily to achieve the targets on daily basis.
