Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Perform installation and maintenance for a variety of electrical works across internal and external projects, including executing external electrical tasks for HOMCO properties and operating standby power generators.
Repair and maintain fire alarm systems, CCTV equipment, and other electrical components.
Respond to emergency calls, troubleshoot system issues, and replace lamps and components as needed.
Ensure the safety of electrical work by conducting tests with test meters before execution.
Adhere to electrical codes and regulations when installing additional conductors, cable trays, lighting fixtures, and other electrical components.
Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on various electrical systems, including fire alarms, CCTV, MATV, access control, public address, PABX, telephone networks, and ATS/VFD system.
Follow departmental goals, objectives, and action plans, and provide support to other maintenance groups when necessary.
Utilize technical expertise to troubleshoot and repair electrical issues, working from ladders, scaffolds, and roofs when necessary.
Assume responsibilities of technicians on leave or vacation, and collaborate with other maintenance staff to ensure efficient completion of tasks.
Collaborate with the maintenance engineer and department head to perform assigned duties and tasks as required. Assist in achieving departmental objectives and support other maintenance groups as needed.
