Key Job Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair complex electrical faults in industrial machines including Lathes, Milling

machines, Horizontal Boring machines, and VTLs.

• Execute both emergency breakdown repairs and scheduled preventative maintenance on

Manual and CNC machines.

• Troubleshoot and calibrate motor starters, VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives), and limit

switches.

• Oversee shop floor electrical load distribution, including the installation and maintenance of

bus bars, distribution boards (DBs), and industrial plug sockets.

• Manage new machine installations from start to finish: cable tray laying, wire pulling, and final

power terminations.

• Monitor and maintain high-value infrastructure including transformers, main switchgear,

and capacitor banks to ensure a stable power supply and power factor.

• Read and interpret AutoCAD electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic drawings for rapid fault

finding and system modifications.

• Maintain accurate logs of electrical spares and inventory.

• Enforce and adhere to Lockout-Tagout (LOTO) safety protocols during all repair activities.

• Ensure all earthing and lightning protection systems are functional and strictly compliant with

safety standards.
