Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electro-Mechanical Estimation Engineer to join our team in the UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately estimating the cost and duration of infrastructure projects. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of GCC experience and a solid understanding of government (Design & Build and EPC) project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

· Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for electro-mechanical projects in alignment with client guidelines and standards.

· Prepare technical proposals, including timelines, methodologies, resource histograms, and other documentation required for the technical offer.

· Conduct thorough technical analyses of project requirements, specifications, and drawings to define the scope of work, materials, and resources required.

· Analyze project costs, including labor, materials, equipment, subcontractors, and other relevant factors, to develop comprehensive and competitive estimates.

· Prepare professional and persuasive proposals outlining project scope, estimated costs, timelines, and deliverables.

· Identify and evaluate potential risks and uncertainties and incorporate appropriate mitigation strategies into the estimation process.

· Liaise with vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers to obtain competitive quotations and assess their technical and commercial suitability.

· Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of estimates, proposals, and project-related documentation; prepare regular reports on estimation progress and challenges.

· Stay updated on industry trends, cost databases, and emerging technologies to enhance estimation accuracy and efficiency; propose and implement process improvements as required.
